Tonight the world lost a heavenly voice to the Heavenly Hosts. Teddy Pendergrass has gone to brighter lights and loving hearts. He will be missed:

The sorrows of the day grow heavier and my heart grows weary of it:
There is joy within these sorrows; America stood proud once more and stepped up to help a wounded nation. Millions of our great nations people came forward with the love, prayers, and money to help our neighbors in Haiti. Though my night ended with the knowledge that a wonderful man with the voice of angelic proportions passed on to greener fields, I had to reflect in the joys of what took place in my day's journey. We showed our true compassion.
I have been on TWITTER almost all day and it is lit up with HAITI and the help this poverty stricken HOME needs in the disaster that struck them.
Wyclef has a fund raiser started and is requesting as much help as we can get to our Haitian neighbors. So, I'm bringing it to you, my friends on TAGGED... the site won't permit me to write out the address you need to send your donations to so I will have to spell it out for you or you can go to the follow twitter to see what is happening: Go to:LRTaylor_Author.
Go to: www.Yele.org All prayers, thoughts, and love sent to these people are also requested on those sites: Thank you for the attention this matter requires.

"While relief efforts have begun, communications are extremely difficult and accurate information is still scarce," UNICEF Executive Director Ann M. Veneman said in a statement this morning. "It is clear that the consequences are severe and many children are among the victims," she added. "Our hearts go out to the families whose lives have been so terribly impacted by this tragedy."
