"AMERICA REMEMBER!"

As America watches from the sidelines and overseas bleachers; Haitians struggle to survive. We cast our eyes into a nations backyards and watch in horror as many countless people are pulled from the rumble of that fateful day
'January 11th, 2010".

We hold our breaths as some walk away and some lay unconscious and near death. As dogs search high mounds of rock and rubble; we remember our own fated day back on August 8th, 2005 when so very many of our own citizens perished in ocean waters breaching the levy in New Orleans.

Now as we watch these events take place, our own memories of a black day in history also must come to mind where rubble and brick, glass and metal covered our own citizens in the Twin Towers destruction. That day of, September 11th, 2001, it was unsurpassed and embedded into our nightmares.

So as we Americans watch our neighbor suffer the hardships of their day January 11th, 2010; we MUST permit the memory of our own struggles for survival in the catastrophes that brought America to her knees but not out. Find refuge in those memories and find compassion in what you see on the days that follow our neighbors. Dig into your memories and release your own anguish of our days in the dark to help those who are now in need of our support. Dig into your wallets, your hearts, your compassion and help them restore what is left and let us help them begin to rebuild.

This is a time to come together as "The Human Race" and stand to help our fellow human on a dark day of their history. Thank you for reading this blog to assure that our memories don't lapse and WE, AS A NATION UNDER GOD go to the aid of our neighboring Nation. HAITI, WE ARE HERE FOR YOU.
